    David Acosta Jr. age 62 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas. David Acosta Jr. was born in Brownfield, Texas on July 26, 1959 to David Acosta Sr. and Remedios Garza. He is preceded in death by father, David Acosta Sr., sister, Mary Helen Garza, grandson; Azriel Jae Zamora. David Acosta Jr. will be missed most by his loving wife of 41 years; Idalia Salazar Acosta of Uvalde, Texas, married on February 21, 1981 in Uvalde, Texas, sons; Miguel (Stacy) Acosta, Joshua Saiz, Javier Acosta, Joel Acosta, Moses Acosta all of Uvalde, Texas daughters; Brenda (Rolando) Galindo of Emporia, Kansas, Reyna (Mario Zamora) Acosta of Uvalde, Texas, Kassandra (Herman Mendoza) Saiz of San Antonio, Texas, Jennisa (Adam) Becker of El Paso, Texas, Isabella Acosta of Uvalde, Texas, bothers; Joe Ben Acosta, Luis Acosta both of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Sylvia (Larry) Aguallo of Lubbock, Texas, Janie (Roy) Velasquez of Uvalde, Texas, 12 grandchildren. Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Joe Ben Acosta Jr., Johnny Joe Garza III, Caesar Ramirez, Julio Garcia, Abraham Garcia, Isaiah Zamora, Joshua Saiz all of Uvalde, Texas, Alejandro Galindo of Emporia, Kansas, Miguel Acosta Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 and Friday, March 18, 2022 both days from 12:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 and Friday March 18, 2022 both days at 7:00 P.M.at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Chapel of Serenity, Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, HWY 90 @ 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas. Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
