    Henry Clay Hunt, age 93 of Brackettville, Texas passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 San Antonio, Texas. Henry Clay Hunt was born in Fort Clark Brackettville, Texas on March 3, 1927 to Milton Tillman Hunt and Myrtle Higginbotham Hunt. He is preceded in death by both parents; Milton Tillman Hunt and Myrtle Higginbotham Hunt, brother, Milton Tillman Hunt Jr., sisters; Mary Helen Hunt Kreiger, Eloise Hunt Davis. Henry Clay Hunt will be missed most by his loving wife, Doris Worley Hunt, of San Antonio, Texas, son, Henry Clay (Molli) Hunt Jr., of Brackettville, Texas, daughter, Martha Hunt (John) Foley, of Sheffield, Texas, grandchildren, Fr. Henry Clay Hunt III, of San Antonio, Texas, Walter (April) Tillman Hunt, of Blanco, Texas, Samuel Arturo Hunt, of Midland, Texas, Duquesa (Jon) Hunt Lamers, of Pipe Creek, Texas, Daphne Hunt (Jake) Dabney, of Angel Fire, New Mexico, Christine Foley (John) Wanjura, of Lubbock, Texas, John J. (Suzanne) of Foley, of Berthoud, Colorado, Katherine Foley (Chris) Schraeder, of Melissa, Texas, Daniel (Amanda) Hunt Foley, of Carmal, IN, Mark (Margaret) Hunt Foley, of Sterling City, Texas, 36 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends; Donna Schuster, of Brackettville, Texas, Juanio Mendoza, of Graham, Texas, Secundino Mendoza, f McAllen, Texas, Johnny Lara, of Uvalde, Texas, Roland Hernandez, of Camp Wood, Texas, Joe Hargrove, of Uvalde, Texas. The Hunt Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services. Honorary Pallbearers; Juanio Mendoza, Secundino Mendoza, Johnny Lara, Roland Hernandez, Joe Hargrove, all of Brackettville, Texas. Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; W.T. Hunt, of Blanco, Texas, Samuel Hunt, of Midland, Texas, John J. Foley, of Berthound, Colorado, Daniel Foley, of Carmal, IN, Mark Foley, of Sterling City, Texas, Pipe Creek, Texas, Jake Dabney, of Angel Fire, New Mexico, Eric Wanjura, of Lubbock, Texas, Chris Schraeder, Melissa, Texas. Henry Clay Hunt had many memories to share with family and friends. One he talked about with pride and satisfaction was about serving in the Unites States Navy. Our dad, granddad, great grandad was a hard-working rancher most of his life. He worked up until his 93 year old body said, "I'm tired". Please pray that he is now resting in the arms of Jesus. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas. Rite of Christian Burial in Brackettville Catholic Cemetery to follow Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
