Alfredo Gaytan's Obituary
Alfredo Gaytan, 51 of Uvalde died Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service is set for Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
He was born on July 27, 1972 in Crystal City to Irma Castillo-Gaytan and Vicente Gaytan.
He is survived by his father; Vicente Gaytan of Uvalde, five brothers; John Gaytan and wife; Maria of La Pryor, Guadalupe Gaytan of Fredericksburg, Pablo Gaytan and wife Rosy Mary, David Gaytan all of Uvalde, Roberto Gaytan and wife; Diana of Knippa, four sisters; Margie Alcozer and husband; Bobby of Castroville, Martha Rodriguez and husband; Jesse of Uvalde, Raquel Zamora and husband; Jesse, Maria Soliz and husband Raul all of Uvalde. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Alfredo’s first love was billiards, he spent many hours playing alongside his friends and family. He was also a professional truck driver for more than 15 years where he travel the country. Alfredo will be missed by all his brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be; Pablo Gaytan of Uvalde, Leroy Soliz of Arizona, Hope Rodriguez of Uvalde, John Paul Gaytan of Corpus Christi, Juan Martinez of Uvalde, Isidro Garza of La Pryor and JR Gaytan of San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Irma C. Gaytan and brother; Antonio Gaytan.
