Mr. Mendez will be missed most by his Wife of 44 years, Diana Sambrano Mendez, and his Sons; Alfredo (Rosario) Mendez of San Antonio, Texas Jose Luis Mendez of Uvalde, Texas and Michael (Maritza) Mendez of Batesville, Texas, and Stepson Margarito (Eloisa) Gomez Jr. of Hondo, Texas
Daughters; Sandra (James) White of Divine, Texas and Veronica (Santos) Reyna of Uvalde, Texas,
Sister; Juanita Mills, and Nephew; Jimmy Martin of Crystal City, Texas
17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place on Friday, May 31, 2019 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Catholic Mission,
Old Loma Vista Road, Batesville, Texas.
