Alfredo Trevino, age 74, passed away on April 26, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1951, in Elk Grove, Illinois, to Jose Trevino and Josefa De La Cerda, both of whom preceded him in death.
Alfredo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Alicia Trevino; his son, Rocky Trevino; and his stepchildren, Delia A. Villar, Anita Cuellar, and Daniel Villar. Four sisters Blasa Galan, Aurora Galan, Olivia Trevino, Maria Elena Trevino.
He also leaves behind a large and cherished family of grandchildren: Jose Daniel Rodriguez, Brent Anthony Villar, Angelina N. Garza, Antonio D. Garza, Amy Cuellar, Damian Alvarado, Riana Alvarado, Jason Alvarado, Cenina Alvarado, Dante Ruiz, Cruz Trevino, Esmeralda Villar, Daniel Villar, Jesse Villar, and Jose Villar, Sylaz Trevino and Isabella Trevino along with many extended family members and friends.
Alfredo worked for many years as a janitor at Big Wells Elementary, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he enjoyed watching wrestling and living a simple, peaceful life. He was a quiet man who found joy in sitting outside, relaxing with a few cold drinks, and appreciating the calm around him.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers Pedro Galan, Onesimo Galan, Raul Galan, Cruz Trevino, Juan Trevino, Jose Trevino Jr, Elmo Trevino.
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
