Anita Martinez age 52, of La Pryor, Texas passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Anita Martinez was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas on February 14, 1969 to Guadalupe Martinez and Margarita Medrano. She is preceded in death by father, Guadalupe Martinez.
Anita Martinez will be missed most by her loving mother, Margarita Medrano, of La Pryor, Texas, brothers; Victor (Rebecca) Martinez, of Seattle Washington, Jose Martinez, of Pflugerville, sisters; Maria C. Aguirre, of Pflugerville, Juanita (Lane) Warden, of Seguin, Texas, Oralia (Steven) Sphan, of Bastrop, Texas, Lorenza Martinez, of Bastrop, Texas, Margarita Martinez, of La Pryor, Texas, Lourdes (Marc Pena) Martinez , of San Antonio, Texas, special niece, Angelica Luevano, of La Pryor, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Martinez Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home allows 100 percent capacity but still requires mask coverings during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary Friday, May 14, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, La Pryor, Texas.
Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery, La Pryor, Texas.
