Antonio “Tony” Zapata Jr., 36, passed away in San Antonio, Texas Sunday, August 19, 2018. Mr. Zapata was born September 2, 1981 in Brownsville, Texas to Mr. Antonio Zapata Sr. and Mrs. Gabriela Zapata.
Tony will be missed most by his sons; Anthony Lee Zapata and Antonio Zapata III both of Uvalde, Texas, daughter; Sarah Lynn Zapata of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Graciela Zapata of Uvalde, Texas, Claudia & husband Andrew Cardenas of San Antonio, Texas, Sofia Nelly Zapata & Mario Silguero of Uvalde, Texas and many nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 A.M. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
