Armando Suarez's Obituary
Armando Suarez, age 73, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. He was born on March 19, 1953, in Del Rio, Texas, to Alfredo Suarez and Armadina Fuentes.
Armando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished his family above all else. He shared 50 loving years of marriage with his wife, Irma Suarez. Together they built a strong and close-knit family that will continue to honor his memory.
He is survived by his children, daughter Norma Jean Esparza and her husband Hector Esparza, and son Jerry Suarez and his wife Veronica Suarez. Armando also leaves behind his beloved brothers Jesse Suarez, Eusebio Suarez, Ruben Suarez, and Joe Suarez, as well as his sisters Romelia Silva and Diana Benavides. His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Armando was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Suarez and Armadina Fuentes, and three brothers.
For 49 years, Armando dedicated himself to his career in sales at NAPA Auto Parts, where he formed lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike.
He had a vibrant personality and enjoyed life to the fullest. Armando loved visiting the casino, playing pool, dancing, watching WWF wrestling, playing dominoes, and going on ship cruises. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family.
A man of strong faith, Armando was a devoted Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, located at 424 Geraldine Street in Uvalde, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
Armando Suarez will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, dedication, and the joy he brought to those around him.
