Arminda Moreno Luna, age 86 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 Uvalde, Texas. Arminda Moreno Luna was born in Mexico, on December 27, 1933 to Romulo Moreno and Maria De Jesus Reyes. She is preceded in death by both parents; Romulo Moreno and Maria De Jesus Reyes, husband; Santos Perry Luna Jr., brothers; Jose Moreno, Marcos Moreno, Richard Moreno, sisters; Maria Moreno, Rosa Ballesteros, Elena Moreno, grandson; Sgt. Jose Alvarez Jr.
Arminda Moreno Luna will be missed most by her loving sons; Ruben Moreno Luna, of Houston, Texas, Gilbert (Caroline) Moreno Luna, of Hereford, Texas, Tommy Moreno Luna, of Uvalde, Texas, daughters; Olga Moreno Luna, of Victoria, Texas, Gloria L. Negrete, of New Braunfels, Texas, brothers; Antonio Moreno, Jesse Moreno, both of Uvalde, sister; Josie Gonzalez, of San Diego, California, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The Luna family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Michael Lee Ramos, Michael Lee Ramos II, Roman Ramos, all of Victoria, Texas, Gilbert Luna Jr, of Hereford, Texas, Tommy Luna Jr., of New Jersey, Ruben Luna Jr., Houston, Texas.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 and Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
