Arnulfo "Tio Nufi" Prado's Obituary
Arnulfo “Tio Nufi” Prado, age 63, passed away Thursday, April 04, 2019, peacefully in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Prado was born in Crystal City, Texas to Francisco Prado & Aurora (Vasquez) Prado. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Francisco & Aurora Prado, sisters; Teodosa Campos, Minerva Acosta, Hortencia Prado brothers; Ernesto Prado, and Francisco Prado Jr.
“Tio Nufi” as he was referred to by his loving nieces and nephews loved to volunteer at the schools in Batesville. Mr. Prado also enjoyed coaching softball and never met anyone he didn’t become friends with. Nufi always wore a smile and spent all his extra time with his loving mother. Nufi’s greatest joy was his membership to the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Prado will be missed most by his sister Lile Guedea, the Prado, Campos, Acosta families and numerous nieces & nephews.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Saint Patrick Catholic Mission, Old Loma Vista Rd, Batesville, Texas.
Interment to follow at Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Texas.
