Arturo Ybarra Arriola, 72, passed away peacefully in Uvalde Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Mr. Arriola was born April 20, 1946 in Uvalde, Texas to Pifano Arriola and Gloria Lopez Ybarra. Mr. Arriola is preceded in death by his Parents; Pifano Arriola and Gloria Lopez Ybarra, and brother; Mike Arriola.
Mr. Arriola will be missed most by his son; Moses (Idalia Cuellar) Arriola of Plainview, Texas, Daughters; Lauraina Arriola of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christina Arriola of Sioux City, Iowa, sisters; Norma Gayoso of Poteet, Texas, Olga Luna of Corus Christi, Texas, Nephews; Jake Reyes, John Reyes, Mike Arriola Jr., all of Uvalde, Texas, and grandson; Zayne-Madden Ka’ Imi Ulmer of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Jake Reyes, John Reyes Willie Moreno, Mario Gonzales, Gilbert Talamantez, and Mike Arriola Jr.
United States Army Rendering Military Honors at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 3, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00P.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX.
