Arturo Martinez's Obituary
Arturo Martinez Sr., 71 of Uvalde died April 10, 2022 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde, Texas.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from noon to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, where A Rosary Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. both days. A Mass of Christian Burial is set Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, in Batesville. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on September 9, 1950 in Piedras Negras to San Juanita Vasquez Arredondo and David Martinez Munoz.
He is survived by one son; Arturo Martinez Jr. of Uvalde, two daughters; Jessica Martinez and partner Lawrence Rios, Juanita Lopez and husband Edward all of Uvalde, four brothers; Florensio Martinez Vasquez, Bernardo Martinez Vasquez, Servando Martinez Vasquez, Jose Manuel Martinez all of Mexico, two sisters; Rosa Elena Martinez Vasquez, Elsa Guadalupe Martinez Vasquez both of Mexico. 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edward Lopez, Arturo Martinez Jr., Servando Martinez.
He is preceded in death by wife; Juanita R. Martinez, Parents; David Martinez
Munoz and San Juanita Vasquez Arredondo, two brothers; David Martinez Vasquez, Arnulfo Martinez Vasquez.
