Bart Henson's Obituary
Bart Walhace Henson was born on February 19, 1966. He passed away in his home in Uvalde, Texas on October 26, 2022. He was 56 years old. He valiantly battled cancer until Jesus decided it was time to take him home and give him peace.
Bart lived in Uvalde most of his life. He was born in Floydada, Texas and loved by his parents Kenneth and Ann Henson. He moved to Uvalde with his family during the summer of 1976. He attended elementary school and High School in Uvalde. He worked for DKM Enterprises for over a decade as a beveler. This is all basic information about Bart but there was so much more to him. He had many friends who loved his sense of humor even if it was off color most of the time. He had a big heart in a big teddy bear body. He was a strong man that persevered through life to find laughter and love. He found this laughter and love when he married Marry Frances winter on September 24, 2010. They were partners and best friends for over 10 years. Bart was always ready for a Bar-B-Que and a beer. There was absolutely no one like him. He will be missed by so many who loved him.
He is preceded in death and will be met in Heaven by his father; Kenneth Henson, Mother; Ann Henson and his brother; Brent Henson.
He is survived by his wife Mary Henson of Brackettville, one son; Kenneth Henson of San Antonio, two stepdaughters; Jennifer Lope and husband; David of San Antonio, Amanda Reyna if Uvalde, one sister; Kendra Willoughby and husband; Trae of San Antonio, two nephews; Sam Willoughby, Noah Willoughby of San Antonio, four grandchildren; Jasime Reyna, Jose “JJ” Reyna Jr., Alexandra Matiz, Justin Reyna all of Uvalde.
