Braulio Castillo, 49 of Uvalde died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at University Hospital in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. Mass set for Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on July 31, 1974 in Eagle Pass to Martha Elva Rueda and Daniel Castillo.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years; Veronica Bustamante Castillo of Uvalde; one son; Joaquin Castillo of Uvalde, one daughter; Katarina Castillo and companion; Benedict Diongzon of Uvalde, father; Daniel Castillo of Uvalde, one brother; Armando Daniel Castillo of Uvalde, one sister; Susie Martinez and husband; Andy of Uvalde, mother-in-law; Cecilia Bustamante of Uvalde, one sister-in-law; Monica Aviles of Uvalde, three brothers-in-law; Oscar Bustamante and wife; Rosie, Gabriel Bustamante all of San Antonio, Matthew Bustamante and companion; Elizabeth Martinez of Uvalde. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Danny Castillo, Andy Martinez Jr. both of Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be; Joaquin Castillo of Uvalde, Jose Luis Rodriguez of Colorado, Alex Rodriguez, Gabriel Rodriguez, Henry Villa Jr., David Rueda Jr. all of Houston.
He is preceded in death by mother; Martha Elva Rueda Castillo, father-in-law; Oscar Bustamante, brother-in-law; Joe G. Aviles.
