Candy Lopez Godoy, age 33, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Candy Lopez Godoy was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 1, 1987 to Ruben V. Lopez and San Juanita “Janie” Garcia. She is preceded in death by her father, Ruben V. Lopez.
Candy Lopez Godoy will be missed most by her loving husband, Francisco Godoy Jr., of Uvalde, Texas, sons; Orlando Nevaeh Romero, Diego Ruben Romero, Francisco Javier Godoy III, all of Uvalde, Texas, mother; San Juanita “Janie” Lopez, of Uvalde, Texas, brothers, Ruben (Milly) Lopez Jr, of North Dakota, Alfredo Lopez, Ricardo (Anna) Lopez, of Uvalde, sister, Raquel Ramos, of San Antonio, Texas, maternal grandmother, Maria Zapata, of Uvalde, Texas, father & mother-in-law, Francisco Godoy Sr. and Rosemary Martinez, of Uvalde, Texas, sister-in-laws; Lucero Gonzalez, of Plainview, Texas, Nina Godoy, of Florida, Christina Aguilar, Lupita Godoy, of Uvalde, Texas, brother-in-laws; Jesus Godoy, Jovanni Godoy, both of Uvalde, Texas, cousin, Marina Banda, Uvalde, Texas, nieces; Italy Ramos, of San Antonio, Texas, LeAna Lopez, Jeweliana Lopez, Kymberly Lopez, Karyna Lopez, all of Uvalde, Texas, nephews, Ruben Lopez III, Juan Antonio Ramos Jr., both of San Antonio, Texas, and many more friends and family.
The Lopez-Godoy Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A Visitation will be held on at Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
