Mr. Wood was born in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to Alvis Carlton Wood & Sylvia Nell White. Mr. Wood is preceded in death by both parents; Alvis Carlton Wood and Sylvia Nell White-Wood; twins; James Matthew and Laura Mae Wood; granddaughter: Meaghan Gillen.
Mr. Wood will be missed most by his loving children: sons, David Gregory (Johanna) Wood, of Uvalde, Texas; Leslie Aaron Wood and Nathan Andrew (Pamela) Wood, both of Knippa, Texas; Daughter: Bridget (Tommy) Vaughn, of Abilene, Texas. brothers: Steven (Kendra) Wood, of Uvalde, Texas and Chuck (Sherry) Wood, of Camp Wood, Texas.
4 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
