Christina Chavez, age 47 of Uvalde, Texas passed Monday, July 13, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Christina Chavez was born in Toppenish, Washington on March 13, 1973 to Jose Carbajal Chavez and Maria Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Gutierrez, brothers; Jose Chavez, Arturo Chavez, sisters; Lupita Chavez, Esperanza Chavez.
Christina Chavez will be missed most by his loving husband, Jesus Rios Sanchez, of Uvalde, Texas, sons; Jesus Chavez Rios, Victor Chavez Rios, Andrew Chavez Rios, Santiago Chavez Rios, all of Uvalde, Texas, father, Jose Carbajal Chavez, of Uvalde, Texas brothers; Gilbert Chavez, Pettus, Texas, Ricardo (Carla) Chavez, of Uvalde, Texas; sisters; Donecia (Carlos) Lara, of New Mexico, Rosaelia (John) Alvarado, of El Paso, Elisa Chavez, of San Antonio, Rebecca Chavez, Linda Chavez, Amelia Chavez Nava, all of Uvalde, Texas.
The Chavez family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity at a time during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas and Friday, July 17, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00 P.M. both days, Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Tranquility, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas and Friday, July 17, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Scripture Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
