Consuelo Cardona, 87 of Uvalde died Saturday February 4, 2023 at her residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 7, 2023 and Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where A Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2023. A Funeral Service set for Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on July 17, 1935 in Mexico to Maria Moncada and Carlos Ortega.
She is survived by her seven sons; Jose Luis Cardona and wife; Viviana, Isau Cardona and wife; Rosalinda, Alfonso Cardona Jr. all of Florida, Jesus Cardona and wife; Martha, Francisco Cardona and wife; Maria, Carlos Cardona and wife; Diana, all of Uvalde, Isaias Cardona and wife; Lilia of San Antonio, three daughters; Guadalupe Cordero, and husband; Olivo, Frances Koemm and husband; Robert all of Florida, Josefa Lugo and husband; Rafael of Uvalde. 46 grandchildren. 94 great grandchildren. 4 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Cardona Jr. of Houston, Billie Perez of Florida, Isaac Cardona, Josue Cardona, Joey Gonzalez, Carlos Cardona all of Uvalde, Isaias Cardona Jr. of San Antonio, Isau Cardona Jr. of Beaumont.
She is preceded in death by both parents; Maria Moncada Ortega and Carlos Ortega.
