David Alvarez Mendez, age 64, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. David A. Mendez was born on October 26, 1956 in Uvalde, Texas to Carlos V. Mendez and Guadalupe Alvarez. He is preceded in death by parents; Carlos V. Mendez and Guadalupe Alvarez, brother, Carlos Mendez Jr.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Templo Cristiano, 231 North Park Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, HWY 90 @ 527 Stg. Alvarez Lane Uvalde, Texas.
