Debra Ann Longoria, age 66 passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. She was born on January 2, 1959, in Del Rio, Texas, to the late Alex Longoria and Delia G. Smith.
Debra was a loving mother, a devoted daughter, and a cherished friend to many. She is survived by her beloved son, Stephen Longoria, whom she loved deeply and with whom she shared countless special moments—especially their time spent watching movies together.
A talented florist by trade, Debra later retired from a successful career as a medical coder. She brought the same dedication and care to her professional life that she gave so freely to her family and friends. Known for her kind and generous spirit, Debra had a heart for helping others. She was a caregiver not only to her own family but also to countless others, often stepping in to care for children so that single mothers could work and improve their lives. She was truly a mother to many.
Debra enjoyed traveling and often visited her hometown of Brackettville, where she found peace and connection. Time with family was especially important to her, and she always made the most of those moments.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alex Longoria and Delia Smith, as well as her uncles Alfred Gomez and Narciso Gomez, and her beloved aunt Elvidia “Aunt Bea” Hinds.
Debra's compassion, warmth, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
