Diamantina Ortiz Chapa, age 64, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Diamantina Ortiz Chapa was born December 11, 1955 to Jose Jesus Chapa Sr. and Mercedes Ortiz. She is preceded in death by both parents; Jose Jesus Chapa Sr. and Mercedes Ortiz Chapa, brothers; Enrique Ortiz Chapa and Frankie Roman III, sister, Mary Helen Chapa Samora.
Diamantina Ortiz Chapa will missed most by her siblings, brother, Jose Jesus Chapa Jr., sisters; Evangelina (Camilo) Chapa-Ramos, of Killeen, Texas, Dora Terrazas, Enedina Chapa, And Armandina (Edward) Chapa-Herrera, all of Uvalde, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Chapa family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 10 people at a time during all services.
A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 9: 00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Private Funeral Service will be streamed live via Facebook: Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.
A Public Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
