Dona M. Cox, age 81, of Uvalde, Texas passed away peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Uvalde, Texas. Dona M. Cox was born July 31, 1938 in Franklin, Ohio to Donald Arrick and Helen Smeltzer. She is preceded in death by both parents and son Jeffrey James Mitton.
Mrs. Cox will be missed most by her loving husband, Travis Cox of 40 years; sons: Matthew (Yvonne) Mitton, of Uvalde, Texas; Daniel (Kimberly) Mitton, of Post, Texas; James (BJ) Mitton, Plain City, Ohio, John (Alyson) Cox, of Eagle Pass, Texas; Daughters: Kimberly (Jerry) Mayer, of Plain City, Ohio; Helen (Mike) McCarthey, of Oklahoma, Oklahoma; brother: Joe Arrick, of Madisonville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Matthew D. Mitton officiating at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
