Donaciana “Dora” M. Varela, age 94 of Uvalde, Texas passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Mrs. Varela was born in Nava, Mexico on September 6, 1926 to Santos Martinez & Juantia Rostro Garcia-Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, Erasmo Varela, daughter Leticia V. Wiggins and parents; Santos & Juanita Martinez.
Dora will be missed most by her loving sons; Mario (Lupe) Gonzalez of Fort Worth, Texas, Jesus (Elsa) Gonzalez of Uvalde, Texas, Jimmy (Connie) Varela San Antonio, Texas, Jose E. Varela of Uvalde, Texas daughter; Yolanda Varela of Austin, Texas, 12-grandchildern, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Prayer Service will follow at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Funeral Service will also be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will conclude all services at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Uvalde, Texas
