Edward Upton, age 62 of Uvalde, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Edward Upton was born in Maryland on September 6, 1958 to Meredith Keith Upton and Mary Ann Blum. He is preceded in death by his parents; Meredith Keith Upton and Mary Ann Blum.
Edward Upton will be missed most by his loving spouse of 30 years; Donna Brake, sons; Michael (Sarah Flores) Brake, Edward (Noemi Quijano) Brake, daughter; Jessica (Librado Rios III) Brake, brothers; James Edward Upton, Murray Rogers, sisters; Rose Marie Upton, Tessie (Jose) Juarez, grandchildren; Jennifer Brake, Librado Rios IV, Steven Rios, Eli Rios, James Brake, Aubrey Brake, all of Uvalde, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Upton Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Due to Covid-19, no Vigil is being held and the Upton Family will be reciting the Holy Rosary on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 7:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
