Elias Rios, age 82, of Mexico passed away Sunday, January 18, 2020 in La Pryor, Texas. Elias Rios was born on March 30, 1937 in Mexico to Juan Rios and Gregoria Hernandez-Rios. He is preceded in death by both parents; Juan Rios and Gregoria Hernandez-Rios, wife; Lucia Rios Vallejo, son; Martin Rios, sisters; Hilda Garza Rios, Maria Jimenez Rios, Belia Leija, Hermina Rocha, Inez llamas, and brother Santos Rios.
Mr. Rios will be missed most by his daughters; Maria De La Luz, of La Pryor, Texas, Maria Blanco, of Port Arthur, Texas, Yolanda Bailey (Raymond), of Port Neches, Texas, sisters; Guadalupe Rios, of San Antonio, Texas and Rosa Rios, of Castroville, Texas, brother, Humberto Rios of San Antonio, Texas, daughter-in-law; Dolores Rios, of La Pryor, Texas, grandchildren; Ricardo Victorino Jr., Lucia Juanita Victorino, Angelica Victorino, Andrea Najera Rios, Deyanira Rios, Elias Rios, Martin Aaron Rios, Jose Rios, all of La Pryor, Texas, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 and Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 22, 2020 and Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 620 Benson St, La Pryor, Texas 78872
Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Cemetery Road, La Pryor, Texas 78872
