Elida Tamez Gonzales, 86 of La Pryor died Monday, December 26, 2022 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Friday, December 30, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service set Friday, December 30, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. A Graveside Service held Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at La Pryor Cemetery. Interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
She was born on December 12, 1936 in Kingsville to Candida Sanchez and Salvador Tamez.
She is survived by one son; Roel Gonzales Sr. and wife; Rafaela of Austin, one daughter; Silvia Flores and husband; Alvino III of La Pryor, one brothers; Noe Tamez of California, four sisters; Dolores Abundo, Linda Cavasos both of Kingsville, Ofelia Carrio of California, Naomi Vasquez of Salado, five grandchildren; Roel Gonzales Jr, Randy Gonzales both of Austin, Brianna Gonzales of Kyle, Alvino Flores IV, Patricia Ann Valle both of La Pryor, three great grandchildren; Gabriel Flores, Jazmyne Valle, Alyssa Valle all of La Pryor, one great-great grandchild; Thomas Daniel Flores of Del Rio.
Pallbearers will be Alvino Flores IV, Ismael Valle, Jazmyne Valle, Joe Martinez all of La Pryor, Randy Gonzales of Austin, Gabriel Flores of Uvalde.
She is preceded in death by husband; Eustorgio Gonzales, parents; Candida Sanchez and Salvador Tamez, one brother; Ruben Tamez, one sister; Olivia Maldonado.
