Elida M. Solorio, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at the age of 61. She was born on January 7, 1964, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, to Mario Mendoza and Ernestina Flores Segura.
Elida was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered around her family. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the unmistakable spirit of love she shared so freely. She had a gift for bringing people together, and one of her greatest joys was playing lotería with anyone willing to join her—moments that became cherished memories for all who sat at her table.
Elida was a woman of deep Catholic faith, drawing strength and comfort from her beliefs throughout her life. Her gentle nature, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Manuel S. Gonzalez, along with numerous family members who were blessed by her generous heart and caring presence.
Elida is preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Ernestina Flores Segura
, and her son, Manuel Solorio. Though she has left this world, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Her family will forever cherish her legacy of compassion, joy, and unending love. May she rest in peace.
