Elisabeth Gruber Alejandro, age 91 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas. Elisabeth Gruber Alejandro was born in Schirnding, Bavaria, Germany on November 22, 1928 to Johann Gruber and Lina Dill Gruber. She is preceded in death by her parents; Johann Gruber and Lina Dill Gruber, sister, Anna Gruber Yarema.
Elisabeth Gruber Alejandro will be missed most by her loving husband, Celestino Alejandro, of Uvalde, Texas, son; Donald G. Alejandro, of Uvalde, Texas, daughter, Shirley A. Alejandro, of Uvalde, Texas, grandchildren; Donald R. Alejandro and Erica Ramos, both of Uvalde, Texas, Lari M. Alejandro, of Los Angeles, California, nieces; Susie Martinez and Mary Trevino, both of Uvalde, Texas, nephew, Johnny Hernandez, of Uvalde, Texas.
Elisabeth Gruber Alejandro enjoyed cooking traditional German dishes, baking, gardening and landscaping. She loved to dance,travel and enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved family.
The Alejandro family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 50 percent capacity at a time during all services.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
