Elma Villarreal's Obituary
Elma Villarreal passed away on February 5, 2026. She never married. Elma was beloved for her warm smile, generous spirit, and deep devotion to her family. An active member of Templo Cristiano in Uvalde, she faithfully attended services and participated in church activities. Elma took great joy in family gatherings and was known by friends and relatives for her kindness, quiet strength, and willingness to help others in the community. She is survived by her brothers: Hector Villarreal and his wife Judy of Amarillo; Domingo Villarreal Jr. and his wife Elva of Bovina; Rene Villarreal of Bovina; and Robert Villarreal of Dumas. She is also survived by her sisters Maria Ramirez and her husband Jorge of Uvalde, and Michelle Quiroz of Amarillo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her love and support. She was preceded in death by her father, Domingo Villarreal Sr. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas. Pastor Joe Ruiz will officiate the prayer service. Cremation is under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home. The family welcomes memories, condolences, and stories celebrating Elma’s life.
