Eric James Martinez, age 30 of San Antonio, Texas passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Eric James Martinez was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 29, 1990 to Enrique Martinez & Rhonda Ortega-Mancha. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Corina Ortega, Guadalupe Martinez and grandfather, Homer Martinez.
Eric James Martinez will be missed most by his loving daughter, Aleeyah Martinez of San Antonio, Texas, parents; Enrique (Monica Flores) Martinez of Boerne, Texas, Rhonda (Ron) Mancha of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Aaron Lopez of Uvalde, Texas, Xavier Martinez of Boerne, Texas, sisters; Emily (LaChance) Howard of Austin, Arkansas, Michelle (Juan Carranza) Benavides of Uvalde, Texas, grandfather, Salome Ortega of Uvalde, Texas.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers; Aaron Lopez of Uvalde, Texas, Jake Ortiz of Port Aransas, Texas, Chris Ortega of San Antonio, Texas, Randy Ortega of Uvalde, Texas, Ricardo Martinez of New Braunfels, Texas, Anthony Martinez of Saginaw, Michigan, Fernando Martinez of Norcross, Georgia, and Santino Martinez of Saginaw, Michigan.
The Martinez family would like to thank everyone for their corporation as we follow 50 percent capacity during all services at the funeral home.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Mass of Christian Burial will also be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2020 Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Father Gustavo Ortega officiating, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will conclude all services at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Uvalde, Texas
