Eristea Martinez, age 81, of Brackettville, Texas passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Abilene, Texas. Ms. Martinez was born in Brackettville, Texas to Santiago Hernandez and Eristea Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Husband; Jose Martinez, brothers; Pete Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Jimmy Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Leon Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, sisters; Carmel Hernandez, Louisa Hernandez, and Juanita Hernandez.
Mrs. Martinez will be missed most by her sons; Danny Martinez and Jimmy Martinez; both of Brackettville, Texas, sister; Gloria De La Rosa and Jovita Munoz, both of Brackettville, Texas.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 S. Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas.
A Recitation Of The Holy Rosary will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 S. Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 301 S. Ann Street, Brackettville, Texas.
Interment to follow at Kinney County Cemetery, Brackettville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
