Fayetta Marie Robinson
To Gene
You taught me how to ride a bike,
and helped teach me how to drive.
You showed me how to throw a punch,
to help me to survive.
Tho' hours away,
you'd come to my rescue,
no matter the burden it put on you.
My brother, my friend,
and many times a companion
through thick and thin.
You'll be in my heart,
and in my mind.
We are not forever apart,
only until Heaven,
which I too, shall find.
