Ernesto Rodriguez, 74 of Uvalde died Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his residence in Knippa.
A Visitation will take place Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Monday, October 10, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin both days at 7:00 P.M. A Mass set for Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was born on February 26, 1948 in Uvalde to Catarina Reyes and Asencion Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Elia Rodriguez of Knippa, four sons; Ernesto Rodriguez Jr. and wife; Larissa of Uvalde, Eddie Rodriguez and wife; Mary of Hubbard, Jose Alfredo Rodriguez and wife; Michelle of Hillsboro, Juan Enrique Rodriguez and wife; Melissa of Austin, two daughters; Sulema Rodriguez of Knippa, Myra Landry and husband; Louis of Knippa, three brothers; Mario Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez both of Uvalde, Reynaldo Rodriguez of Castroville, Alberto Rodriguez of Knippa, one sister; Angelina Vasquez of Uvalde, 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sulema Rodriguez, Myra Nicole Landry, Jose Alfredo Jr. of Hillsboro.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Jr. of Uvalde, Juan Enrique Rodriguez of Austin, Eddie Rodriguez of Hubbard, Jose Alfredo Sr. of Hillsboro, Louis Gary Landry, Isaiah Makhi Rodriguez both of Knippa.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Catarina Reyes Rodriguez and Asencion Rodriguez, two sister; Teresa Martinez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, one brother; Luis Rodriguez, son-in-law; Isabel Rodriguez.
