Esmeralda Ibarra Silva, 64 of Uvalde died Wednesday March 1, 2023 at her residence in Uvalde.
A Visitation will take place Monday, March 6, 2023 and Tuesday, March 7, 2023 both days from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where A Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2023. A Mass set for Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on April 18, 1958 in Uvalde to Alicia Enriquez and Santiago Ibarra.
She is survived by her three sons; Christopher Arellano, Israel Silva, Orlando Silva and wife; Carolina all of Uvalde, four stepsons; Sylvester Silva, Anthony Silva and wife; Gabriella , Robert Silva, Steven Silva and wife; Rosalinda all of Uvalde, two step daughters; Babette Silva of San Antonio, Valora Galloway and husband; George of California, 10 grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Orlando Silva, Israel Silva, Christopher Arellano all of Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be Elisa Zamarripa of San Antonio, Elsa Silvas of Arizona, Maricelda Fogot of Iowa.
She is preceded in death by both parents; Alicia Enriquez Ibarra and Santiago Ibarra, husband; Antonio Campos Silva, one sister; Ilda Mendez, one brothers; Luis A. Ibarra, aunt; Jamie Ibarra, grandmother; Concepcion Enriquez.
