Esteban Cocolan Viramontes, 70 of Uvalde died July 8, 2022 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital
in Uvalde, Texas.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 10, 2022 and Monday, July 11, 2022 from noon to 9:00 P.M. both days at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, where A Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. both days. A Mass of Christian Burial set for Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on July 8, 1952 in Jalpa Zacatecas to Heliberta Cocolan and Juan Viramontes.
He is survived by this spouse; Olivia Gonzalez Viramontes, four sons; Alejandro and wife Luz Elena Viramontes of Tyler, Esteban Jr. and wife Wendy Viramontes, Lionel and wife Amy Viramontes and Ismael and wife Angela Viramontes all of Uvalde, four daughters; Rosalva and husband Derick Kearney of Selma, Maribel and husband Hector Viramontes of San Antonio, Hermelinda and husband Juan G. Mendez, Lilia and husband Oscar Mendez, one brother; Elias Viramontes of Zacatecas, two sister; Hermelinda of Uvalde, Gabriela and husband Juan Viramontes of Zacatecas. 27 grandchildren.
Pallbearers; Alejandro Viramontes of Tyler, Isai Martinez of San Antonio, Esteban Viramontes, Lionel Viramontes, Ismael Viramontes, Juan Mendez Jr., Ivan Mendez all of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by parents; Heliberta Cocolan and Juan Viramontes, brother; Aurelio Viramontes, sister; Elena Lopez.
