Felix Mireles' Obituary
Felix Mireles, age 80 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Felix was born in Campbellton, Texas on February 1, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesus V. & Maria Rendon-Mireles brothers; Benito, Juan, Jesus Jr. Mireles and sister Francisca Mireles.
Felix enjoyed working outdoors as a rancher before joining the city of Uvalde water department. Mr. Mireles worked for over 20 years with the water department going through ranks until reaching the foreman position. He loved working and coming home to his wife, family after retiring from the city of Uvalde he cherished every moment he spent with them.
Mr. Mireles will be missed most by his wife of 57 years, Apolinaria G. Mireles of Uvalde, Texas sons; Felix G. (Samantha) Mireles of Uvalde, Texas, Guadalupe “Lupe” Mireles, Felipe Mireles, all of Uvalde, Texas, daughter; Pauline (Rosendo Saiz) Mireles of Uvalde, Texas brothers; Jose, Manuel and Francisco Mireles of Uvalde, Texas sisters; Margret Mireles Vasquez, Elena Mireles, Maria Mireles Molina, of Kerrville, Texas, Rita Mireles Guerrero, Oglesby, Texas, Yolanda Mireles Boone, of Uvalde, Texas, 13-grandchildern, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on both Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and Thursday, October 21, 2021 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Mass of Christian burial will also be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 22, 2021 Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Uvalde, Texas
