Felix Vasquez's Obituary
Felix H. Vasquez, 81, of Knippa, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Felix was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared 56 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Maria S. Vasquez.
He worked for 15 years at Walmart and took great pride in the simple joys of life. He loved tending to his yard, keeping his car spotless, listening to old Tejano music, and dancing whenever he had the chance. His mornings were especially dear to him—enjoying a cup of coffee with sweet bread while taking in the peaceful morning breeze.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus C. Vasquez and Julia H. Vasquez; his siblings, John Vasquez, Jessie Vasquez, Diana Garza, and Raul Vasquez; and his two great-grandchildren, Antonyo Zeke Garcia and Harley Valdez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria S. Vasquez; his daughters, Belinda Vasquez and Maribelle Aguilar; his grandchildren, Cassandra Valdez, Angel Ocasio, Stephanie Rodriguez, Chantilly Ocasio, and Tony Aguilar Jr.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Oscar Vasquez, Mario Vasquez, Hector Vasquez, Nifa Garcia, Dora Vasquez, and Keta Vasquez; his sister-in-law, Petra Ysassi; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 2:00 P.M, Friday, April 24, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Felix will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
