Fernando L. Riojas Jr., age 94, of Uvalde, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Uvalde, Texas.
Mr. Riojas was born in Uvalde, Texas to Fernando L. Riojas Sr. and Juanita Longoria. Mr. Riojas is preceded in death by both his parents; Fernando L. Riojas Sr. and Juanita Longoria; wife of 42 years Thelma S. Riojas; brothers: Jesus Riojas and Ernesto Riojas; sisters: Elodia Soto, Frances Rodriguez.
Mr. Riojas will be missed most by his sons; Ruben (Maria Aurora) Mata, of San Antonio, Texas, Andre Fernando Riojas, of Houston, Texas; daughters: Carrie (Ruben) Mata, of Levelland, Texas, Rebecca Cruz, of Uvalde, Texas; brother: Gilberto Riojas, of Uvalde, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 12:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas with military honors rendered by the United States Army.
Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
