Filimon Huerga Rodriguez, age 74 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Filimon Huerga Rodriguez was born in Mathis, Texas on March 8, 1947 to Miguel Rodriguez and Librada Huerga. He is preceded in death by both parents; Miguel Rodriguez and Librada Huerga Rodriguez, son, Jimmy Rodriguez, brothers; Domingo Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, sisters; Rosa Hernandez, Estela Quintana.
Filimon Huerga Rodriguez will be missed most by his loving sons; Daniel Rodriguez of Florida, Rene Rodriguez of Mathis, Texas, daughters; Christina Rodriguez of Lawton, Lupita Perez of Lubbock, Texas, Yesenia Palacios of Houston, Texas, brother; Miguel Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas, 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 and Wednesday, October 27, both days from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
A Funeral Service will also be held at 2:00 P.M. October 28, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home-Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, HWY 90 @527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
