Francisco Velasquez's Obituary
Francisco Velasquez, age 58 of Uvalde, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 San Antonio, Texas. Francisco Velasquez was born in Uvalde, on October 22, 1962 to Lazaro Hernandez Velasquez and Lorenza Valverde Velasquez. He is preceded in death by both parents; Lazaro Hernandez Velasquez and Lorenza Valverde Velasquez, son, Israel “Chivo” Aguilar, brother, Alfred Velasquez, sisters; Ramona Flores, Leticia V. Velasquez.
Francisco Velasquez will be missed most by his loving son, Francisco “Panch” (Katie) Velasquez Jr., Ruben Aguilar, all of Uvalde, Texas, daughter, Leticia “Letty” (Billy Pounders) Velasquez, of San Antonio, Texas, Monica (Alfred) Pineda, of Uvalde, Texas, Erica Aguilar, of La Pryor, Texas, brother, Lazaro “Larry” Velasquez, of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Lorena (Danny) De Luna, Racheal Velasquez, Norma Velasquez, all of Uvalde, Texas, Janie (Alfonso) Barba, of Eagle Pass, Texas, Lucita Velasquez, of Dorado, 22 grandchildren.
The Velasquez Family would like to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time as we allow only 75 percent capacity and required mask coverings during all services.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, January 5, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Due to Covid-19, no Vigil is being held and the Velasquez Family will be reciting the Holy Rosary on Monday, January 4, 2020 at 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Sgt. Alvarez Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
