Gabriel “Chuy” Perez , 70, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 peacefully in his home. Mr. Perez was born in Uvalde, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; Gabriel Perez Sr. and Manuela Perez, brothers; Jose Angel Perez, Antonio Perez, Armando Perez, Raymond D. Perez, Enrique Perez, Sister; Estella Perez, & Son; Gabriel Cruz Perez III.
Mr. Perez will be missed most by his loving Wife of 51 years; Frances Cruz Perez of Uvalde, Texas, Daughter; Jennifer (Celestino) Quintana of Gardendale, Texas, daughter-in-law; Dora Elia Perez of Uvalde, Texas, brother-in-law: Mario Cruz of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Andres Perez, of Sabinal, Texas, Juan Manuel Perez, of Uvalde, Texas, grandchildren: Angelica Rodriguez of Gardendale, Texas, Alec Perez, Joseph Perez, Gabriel Perez IV, of Uvalde, Texas and his loving companion Honey Perez.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearer; Camilo Cortez, Roy Torres, Juan Ybarra, Ramiro Salazar, Jose Perez and Jacob Perez.
A visitation will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at 7:00P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10:00A.M. Monday, June 25, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Fort Clark Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment will follow at a later date.
