Genaro Olivarez, age 53, of Uvalde Texas passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. Genaro Olivarez was born on June 19, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan to Maria Rodriguez and Ricardo Olivarez Sr. He is preceded in death by both parents; Maria Rodriguez and Ricardo Olivarez Sr., brothers, Armando Olivarez, Victor Olivarez, Rudy Olivarez, sisters; Benina Olivarez.
Genaro Olivarez will be missed most by his loving daughters, Lisa Olivarez, of Uvalde, Texas, Mari Olivarez, of Arizona, brothers, Carlos (Sylvia) Olivarez, of Sabinal, Texas, Ricardo Olivarez Jr., of Uvalde, Texas, sisters; Armanda (Carlos Trevino) Olivarez, of Sabinal, Texas, Virginia (Jimmy) Ramirez, of San Antonio, Texas, Louanna (Alejandro) Aviles, of Seguin, Texas, Alma Rosa Olivarez, of Hondo, Texas, grandchildren; Elizabeth Cancinos, of Arizona, Kianna Rodriguez, Kendra Rodriguez, all of Uvalde, Texas.
Gentlemen serving as Pallbearers, Alfredo “Fendo” Robles, Gabriel Flores, Ruben Rodriguez, Ricardo Olivarez Jr., Ricardo Olivarez III, all of Uvalde, Texas, Juan Galindo, of Hondo, Texas.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary Monday, May 31, 2021 and Tuesday, June 1, 2021 both days at 7:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Ft. Clark Road, Uvalde, Texas.
Cremation under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
