Genaro Navarro Reyes' Obituary
On July 26, 2020 Beloved father, grandfather, uncle and husband Genaro Navarro Reyes, passed away at the age of 69 in Del Rio, TX. Born in Mexico, November 15, 1950.
Preceded in death by parents, Trinidad Navarro & Jose Reyes, brother Jose Luis Reyes, aunts & uncles Valentino Mario “Cuate Navarro”, Gonzalo “Chalo” Navarro and Valeriano “Vale” Navarro, Beatriz, Lilia Navarro, brother in law Gilberto Ruiz, grand-daughter Mireya Reyes.
Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife Ma’ Elena Reyes (Yanez),of Del Rio, Texas, Children; Genaro Reyes Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, Diana Citlali Reyes, of San Antonio, Texas and Emmanuel Alejandro Reyes, of El Paso, Texas, Grand-Children; Alejandro Reyes, Araceli Reyes, both of San Antonio, Texas, Karina Reyes, of Del Rio, Texas, Ximena Reyes, of El Paso, Texas, Siblings; Oscar Mario Reyes, Lucila De Ruiz, Yolanda Salomé Becerra, Mercedes Camacho Reyes, all of San Antonio, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Mr. Reyes retired from his profession as a teacher after 30 years. He remained passionate about his students and went on to enjoy his 2nd career as a school bus driver for San Felipe CISD. He was an avid photographer and will be memorialized as always going above and beyond for others.
