George Edward Ligocky, 83 of Uvalde died Tuesday January 24, 2023 at Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch San Antonio.
A Graveside Service set for Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Interment to follow.
He was born on February 27, 1939 in Deming, New Mexico to Francis Poverle and Fred Ligocky.
George Edward Ligocky moved to the community in 1961 where he purchased two Farming Ranches and decided to make a living here. He enjoyed hunting at his West Texas Ranch and known to be fond of demolition.
He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Hervol Ligocky of Uvalde, two sons; Tim
Ligocky and wife; Sandy of Uvalde, Eddie Ligocky and wife; Gloria of Corpus Christi, two daughters; Dana Oliver and husband; Danny of Alaska, Laura Charlton and husband; Derrick of Uvalde, one nephew; Gary Ligocky of Uvalde, one niece; Carol Ligocky of Uvalde. 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents; Francis and Fred Ligocky, two brothers; Vince Hershal, Charlie Ligocky.
