Mr. Rodriguez was born in Uvalde, Texas to Eluterio P. & Angelita Trevino- Rodriguez. Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents, Eluterio P. & Angelita Rodriguez, brother, Eluterio Rodriguez Jr.
Mr. Rodriguez will be missed most by his Fiancé; Celia Cardenas, sons; Lorenzo Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas, Alfonso (Cristina) Munoz of San Marcos, Texas, daughters; Cristy Munoz of Uvalde, Texas, Melissa Castillo, of Uvalde, Texas Amanda (Jon) Martinez of Midland, Texas, Tiffany Rodriguez of Baytown, Texas, Vanessa Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas, brothers; Edward, Daniel, Jessie, Richard, Roland Rodriguez, sisters; Guadalupe Martinez, Irene Cano all of Uvalde, Texas, 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A Prayer Service will be held both days at 6:00 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2019,

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 527 Lovers Lane, Uvalde, Texas.
