Glenn "PETE" M. Young's Obituary
Glenn Morris Young, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 peacefully in Uvalde Texas.
Mr. Young was born and raised in Uvalde, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother; Mabel Robertson, father; Felix Robert Young, sisters; Katherine Y. Yarchuska, and Mabel “Mitzi” Nixow, brothers; Bobby Earl Young, Charles Young, and Martin Ray Young.
Glenn served his country proudly in the United States Army. He loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Mr. Young retired from Uvalde Memorial Hospital where he worked 30 years.
Mr. Young will be missed most by his wife of 25 years; Alicia Hernandez daughters; Linda (Ruben) Leija, Norma (Jeremy) De Lassus, Connie (Joshua) Welch, Mary (Samuel) Lara, Jessica (Roman Lopez) Hernandez sisters; Shirley Y. Cummins, and Nina Y. Willis,
and one loving poodle AJ.
Also including 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday, March 15, 16, 2018 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas.
A Prayer Service will also be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde Chapel of Serenity.
A Funeral Service will follow Saturday, March 17, 2018 10:00AM at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity, 424 Geraldine Street, Uvalde, Texas
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Highway 90 West, Uvalde, Texas with the United States Army rendering Military honors.
