Lupe was an angel for my family when my grandfather was Dr. Alvarez's patient at the UMH specialty clinic. If, for some reason, there was a problem with a prescription, she fixed it as soon as we called her. If we had a question or a problem, she was on it. She cared for her patients beyond their office visit, and we appreciated it immensely. I remember sitting in a San Antonio hospital with my grandfather, unable to get answers about what was happening with his treatment. We called her in Uvalde and were able to get squared away. There is no one else like her. My heart goes out to her family.
