Guadalupe Trejo Ramos, age 86, entered eternal glory at 07:50 p.m., 21 December 2025 in Amistad Nursing Home, Uvalde, TX. Guadalupe “Lupe” was born 14 March 1939 in Uvalde, TX to parents Anuncio Calsado Ramos and Adelina Trejo Ramos (Batesville, TX). Preceded in death are his parents and children: Doralva Ramos (Batesville, TX), Steve Ramos (Phoenix, AZ) and Gilbert Alvarado (Phoenix, AZ). Guadalupe’s departed siblings: Manuel Ramos, Jose Ramos, Remigio Ramos, Jesus Ramos and Maria R. Galindo (Batesville, TX).
Like a true rolling stone, he gave 100% of responsibility to the four mothers of his eight children. With former spouse Lidia Canales Rodriguez (deceased: San Antonio, TX); Eldest to youngest: Esmeralda Gu. Bryan (Ismael) of Austin, TX; Jacob Ramos (Liz) of San Antonio, TX; Doralva Ramos (deceased:Batesville, TX). With 2nd former partner: (Cruz Estrella) - Esteban Ramos (deceased: Phoenix, AZ). With 3d former partner (Rachel Bollas-Ramsey) - Carlos J. Ramos (Renetta) of Belle Fontaine, OH. With 4th former partner (Elvira Alvarado) - Ruby Ramos of Phoenix, AZ; Nancy Alvarado of Phoenix, AZ and Gilbert Alvarado (deceased: Phoenix, AZ). Guadalupe Ramos also has 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
During the years of 1964 – 2025, Guadalupe enjoyed biking tens of miles daily throughout his beloved Phoenix, Arizona. He worked long and hard in the agricultural fields and manufactory companies migrating to many states like Colorado, Idaho, Ohio, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. He was proud to have worked until the age of 82 as a Day Laborer in Phoenix, AZ. Guadalupe enjoyed his Lone-Wolf life in the desert heat of Phoenix, AZ. Guadalupe stated he wrote over one hundred songs throughout the years, but his favorite one was a particular Christian song he authored during a period of hardship and a true test of his resilience. Guadalupe also did a few gigs with local bands, but his preference was composing and authoring his own score to his independent songs. Guadalupe Trejo Ramos will be most remembered for his love of music while strumming his guitar.
Guadalupe T. Ramos’ family would like to extend their gratitude to the many nieces and nephews who continued to visit him during his short residence at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde, TX. Additionally, for all personal long-distance calls and extended visits made from afar. Special thanks to Norma Ramos and Guera Villarreal for their tender caregiving during his passing. Guadalupe leaves behind the last surviving sibling, Pedro Ramos (Victoria) of Batesville, TX.
A Memorial will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 424 Geraldine St., Uvalde, TX 78801 on 24 January 2026, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Ephesians 6:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”
