Guadalupe Falcon Saenz's Obituary
Guadalupe “Lupe” Falcon Saenz passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the age of 93.
Lupe was born on March 30, 1932 in Brackettville, Texas, where she lived most of her life and was a long-time resident. She was married to the love of her life, Agapito Saenz, for 49 years until his passing in 1998.
Lupe dedicated her life to raising her children and enjoying the simple joys of life in Brackettville. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved attending parties and bingo, and she especially loved dancing. Lupe was a member of St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, enjoyed singing in the choir and volunteering at the Senior Citizen Center, where she formed many cherished friendships.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Agapito Saenz; her daughter, Rosie Saenz Provencio; parents Lorenza Sandoval and Librado Falcon; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her twin sister, Maria Soliz; her children: Elida Matthews fiancée Frank Godek, Ruby Munoz husband Robert, Frances Rubio husband David, Roman Saenz wife Kelly, Nellie Nunez husband Chon, and Marcus Saenz wife Tracey; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Michael Munoz, Patrick Munoz, Anthony Munoz, Stephan Nunez, Evarett Saenz, Julian Soliz
