The Honorable Judge Ernesto “Neto” Estrada Luna 76 of Uvalde died Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his residence in Uvalde.
Visitation Day 1: Monday, April 15, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation Day 2: Tuesday April 16, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home,
A Rosary will continue 7:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on March 13, 1948 in Uvalde, Texas to Victor Perry Luna and Victoria Estrada.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria R. Luna of Uvalde, two sons; Ernest “Ernie’ Luna and wife; Marisa Luna of Boerne, Manuel Orlando “Lando” Luna and wife; Claudia “Caya” from Austin, two daughters; Kristin L. Navarro and husband; Ricardo Sr. of San Antonio, Lorena “Lorrie” Ramos and husband; Patricio of Houston, two sisters; Elva Perez and husband; Ricardo of Uvalde, Lydia Magana and husband; Guillermo of Liberty Hill, three brothers; Refugio Luna of California, Heriberto Luna and wife; Yolanda of San Antonio, David Luna and wife; Vesta of Camanche, sister in law; Diana Luna of Uvalde, 21- grandchildren and 8- great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Pallbearers will be; Joseph Almendarez of Rankin, Ricardo Navarro Jr. of San Antonio, Jonathan Luna Sr., Caleb Ivan Luna, Rigo Leija Jr. all of Uvalde, Hawk Luna of Austin, Patricio “PJ” Ramos Jr. of Houston, Leland Neil Petty of Waco.
He is preceded in death by both parents Victor Perry Luna and Victoria Estrada; brothers; Richardo Luna, Victor Luna, sisters in law Ernestina Luna and Olga Luna
